Becoming a Registered Participant (Step-by-Step)

WTMFI (Way Too Much F***ing Information) Wednesdays

A weekly sex meme arousing discussions on sexuality

We've talked a little bit in the past about how to participate in WTMFI Wednesdays and the benefits of becoming a Registered Participant. Today, we wanted to take you step-by-step through the registration process.

Becoming a Registered Participant on WTMFI Wednesdays means that you get an account, access to community features and the ability to submit your posts directly to our site (located at http://wtmfi.com/).

It is always free and is just an extra way to stay connected with other participants of WTMFI Wednesdays. So, what does the registration process look like?

Step 1: Visit the Registration Page

The very first thing you need to do to become a Registered Participant is to actually register on our site. You pick your username, connect an active email account (you'll need it to activate your account) and pick a password.

You can also begin filling out some of your profile details. This is optional, can be changed at anytime later and there are also some additional profile questions once you've activated your account. We ask for your name, your website (if you have one) and a short bio. Upon clicking "Complete Signup", you'll be taken to the next step.

Step 2: Activate Your Account

You should get an email from us shortly after registering, assuming you have provided an active email address. If you don't receive this email, please contact us and we will manually activate your account for you.

The email should look similar to the screenshot directly above. It should include an activation link. Click on the link and you will be brought back to the site to login for the first time!

Step 3: Login

Now that you've registered and activated your account, you can find our login box on the main page of our site as well as the sidebar of any other page. Simply input the username and password you provided in Step 1 and click "Log In".
Once you are logged in, you can explore all of the features of our website, including your profile, our forums and session-specific groups.

In some of our upcoming posts, we will focus in on some of the benefits of becoming a Registered Participant, and how you can use the site to its fullest potential. We'll include more step-by-steps including how to set up your profile, how to use the forums and how to submit your posts.
